Riding On San Shoe

After the big Easter egg hunt ... Boots and Uncle B brought up Poncho and San Shoe from the barn ... San Shoe is Mommy's horse ... and he is getting older and really starting to show his age ... So to see Ellie up there with Boots was so special to me !!

She had no fear ... she got up there and didn't want down !

She would have even taken the reigns if Boots would have let her ..

Thanks Boots for taking Ellie for her first ride ... what a sweet and memorable day !!!

After the big hunt... we started a new tradition this year ... Boots and Banty had hidden 12 Resurrection Eggs ... after the hunt they collected them and used them to teach he kids what Easter is really about ...

Even Hank decided to sit in the shade and hear the Easter story ....

That also reminds that Ellie now signs for "more", "please", " & "thank you" (if she's in the right mood)

Riding on the tractor ... well she sat on it... while it was running ... she didn't actually go anywhere ....

Fun At Double Dave's...

One evening while Owen was here we all went to Double Dave's Pizza ... They have a fun playground area, the kids loved it !

I know this doesn't look good ... but she loved it... she wanted to go over and over again ... if you look closely you can see a big smile on her face ...

A Short Lunch Visit

We meet Cousin's Zach and Lindsey and friend Becca in Waco for lunch ! It was great seeing you guys !

Nana and Papa's House

We spent a week at Nana and Papa's house ... Daddy had a class for work in the Dallas area, so Ellie and I hung out with Nana and Papa ...

While we were there we got to celebrate Papa's birthday !

The kids love Nana's playroom ... as you can see they got all the toys off the shelf ...

This was also the week that started yet another ear infection for Ellie ... that she is still fighting ... we now have a referral for ENT ... I dread her having to get tubes soooo much, but can't wait for her to feel better !
