Now believe it or not ... my closet was all organized ... trust me when I say, my closet is usually a mess ... but being that we just recently moved in ... my shoes were all lined up ... that was until Ellie found them ... She loves shoes ... She comes out with different shoes on all day long ...

Nena and PawPaw Came To Visit

Nena and PawPaw came for a little visit last weekend ... we had a good time, got some things done around the house, went to church, and out to eat ... Ellie kept them pretty busy ... She loves getting the extra attention ... Thank you for making the trip to come see us ! Hope you plan another trip soon !

Boots and Banty

Boots, Banty and Tyler came to see us last weekend ... We did a little furniture swapping ... we had a table set of theirs and they had a bed of ours ... And took our first family photo in front of the new house ... Sooooo glad you came ! Love you ! Hurry up and come back !!

The New House

Here is a picture of the new house ... of course this is before they put in the landscaping ... but you get the idea ...

Our moving story ...

The house took a about 3-4 weeks longer than planned, and we had a family living in a hotel waiting to move into our house ... so we had to move at the first opportunity ... that would be the day after closing ... that would also be the day of Todd's final (he has been taking online classes), and that would also be the day it decided to flood in San Antonio ... 5 inches of rain in one day ! It rained and rained and rained .... but we moved anyway ! Our movers we soaked we were soaked, as was all of our stuff and carpets ... it was a crazy day ... The rain of course also slowed down the movers ... which didn't leave them time to put beds back together, or even carry all the boxes to the rooms in which they were labeled ... So basically everything was just dropped off ... which made finding anything like an Easter egg hunt ... All the while, Ellie was very upset about all of this ... very dramatic ... But we are moved in now and thanks to some of our wonderful family ... most things are were they go ... of course I still have several boxes to unpack ... but we are getting there ... I will say that I have NO idea what happened to our iron ... I think I will just count it as a loss and buy a new one :) ... haha

In the middle of some just moved, can't find anything, not sure about what the painters are doing, Ellie attached to my hip and fussy, Todd at work, me buried in boxes ... the door bell rings ... and much to my surprise it was Chris, Kristy and Owen ! They came to help ... and boy did they ! It was awesome ! We can not thank you guys enough ! We appreciate all that you did ! I wish I would have gotten more pictures ! Thank you Kristy for taking these ! we love you guys !
